The Footbook of Self-Reference
The Footbook of Self-reference is a 30-page collection featuring three real-life stories that explore the theoretical concept of “Self-reference.” Alongside these narratives, the author introduces a model of “Self-referential Activity.”
Inspired by the traditional academic Handbook, which compiles scholarly papers to map out a specific field, Footbooks takes a different approach. While Handbooks are authored by experts, Footbooks are collections of stories written by everyday individuals, yet both serve to illuminate complex theoretical ideas.
In collaboration with Curativity Center, Possible Press is proud to present a series of Footbooks authored by Oliver Ding between 2020 and 2024.
